TO BUILDERS – Royal Engineer’s Office, Portsmouth. Tenders will be received by the honourable Board of Ordnance, at their office Pall Mall, London, on Monday, 4th December 1854, from such persons as may be willing to undertake the CONSTRUCTION of a GLACIS in REAR of the BATTERY at LITTLEHAMPTON.

The plans, specifications and conditions of Contract for the above Work may be seen, any any information obtained every day (Sundays excepted) on and after the 22nd instant, on application to Mr KIRTON, clerk of works,
