On the 16th July 2013 Fire Crews and Police were called to a large fire on in the Golf Club, which was had been caused by a car fire in the car park nearby.
Three vehicles were completely destroyed in the incident and vegetation near the car park and was fire damaged. No other persons of vehicles were damaged and the Fort remained untouched.
And still out north eastern boundary marker was untouched
